to Jacksonville:
Mayo Clinic is 9 miles east of St.
Luke's Hospital. When long term care is necessary, as with organ donor
transplant and cancer treatments, it is easier to stay at St Luke's in case
of complications. St Luke's Hospital spans a few blocks on Belfort Rd
and Gate Pkwy West.. Notice the word "condo" on this map. There
are 2 corporate rental properties right around the corner from St Luke's
Hospital and another property only a 5 minute drive away. Southside is
known for its shopping and a vast number of restaurants and the Avenues
Mall. Publix is also around the corner. Many people like being close to Town
Center for a mall-like shopping experience but with a unique home town feel.
We offer a 3/2 bath or 2/2 condo there as well. Gate
Parkway (where the Villa Medici is located) actually connects both
properties with Town Center in between.

Railroad
Jacksonville is served by the
Amtrak system. The Amtrak
station is located on the west side of the city, about 18 miles from Mayo

Bus
The
Greyhound/Trailways bus lines serve Jacksonville. The terminal
is in downtown Jacksonville, about 15 miles from the clinic.

Recreational Vehicles
A limited number of oversized spaces are available in clinic parking lots
for recreational vehicles. Neither water nor electrical hookups are
available, and overnight stays are not permitted at Mayo Clinic or St.
Luke's Hospital. A booklet with information about RV parks is available upon
request from the Central Appointment Office when you make your appointment
or at information desks once you arrive at Mayo Clinic.

Directions to Mayo Clinic
From the Airport: Signs at the airport will lead you to
I-95. Follow the signs to I-95 South and take State Road 9A South (Exit
362A) toward Blount Island. Follow 9A South to J. Turner Butler Boulevard.
Go east on J. Turner Butler Boulevard to San Pablo Road exit. You'll see a
sign, "Mayo Clinic, next right" on the right just before the exit. Take the
exit and at the light, turn left onto San Pablo Road. Mayo is one-quarter
mile ahead on the left.
From I-95 south of Jacksonville: Take Butler Boulevard,
exit No. 344, and go east (toward the beach). You'll pass St. Luke's
Hospital on the left. Stay on Butler Boulevard until you exit at San Pablo
Road. You'll see a sign, "Mayo Clinic, next right" on the right just before
the exit. At the light, turn left on San Pablo Road. Mayo is one-quarter
mile ahead on the left.
From the Beaches: From A1A, take Butler Boulevard to the
San Pablo Road exit. Turn right. Mayo is one-quarter mile ahead on the left.
Mayo Clinic Campus
When you arrive at Mayo Clinic, follow the main road and go straight onto
the campus. Free parking is available in Patient Parking Lots A, B and C. If
your vehicle has a state disabled-person sticker, decal or license plate,
parking in the garage is free. Otherwise, the 600-space facility is
available for a fee. The parking garage is located next to the Davis
Building.
Pay special attention to the building where your appointment is located
since it will help you determine the most convenient parking spot.
Wheelchairs are available at main entrances to the Davis, Mayo and Cannaday
buildings.
If you are staying at The Inn at Mayo Clinic, take the first right after
entering the Mayo campus and follow the signs. If you are staying at the
Courtyard by Marriott, turn left at the first stop sign after entering the
Mayo campus.
St. Luke's Hospital Campus
St. Luke's Hospital is nine miles west of Mayo Clinic. To drive there,
exit the clinic and turn right onto San Pablo Road. Follow San Pablo about
one-quarter mile to the Butler Boulevard entrance ramp on the right. Stay on
Butler Boulevard until you reach Belfort Road. You'll see St. Luke's
Hospital on the right. Exit right onto Belfort Road, which takes you to the
St. Luke's campus entrance. Parking is free. Valet parking is available for
a fee. Please park in designated patient areas, and pay special attention to
lots marked for specific facilities (i.e., Emergency Parking and The Family
Birth Place Parking.)
